Applicants Qualified Outside of NI: Please note when submitting your application to GTCNI, we cannot accept provisional qualifications. You must have been awarded your qualification before any application with GTCNI can be progressed.

 

New Teacher Registration System

The new GTCNI teacher registration system is live. You can create an account as a GTCNI registered teacher or submit an application form as a new applicant at the following link 

GTCNI Online

GTCNI has introduced a new teacher registration system which provides improved registration functions, support and easy access for all users.

(Note the Teachers’ Portal and Schools’ Portal are accessed using the same link; however, schools must use the authorised Principal log in email address).

NI graduates 2023: Please submit your application to register.

 Teachers (inc. those graduating in 2023) are now able to:

  • Register and create an account via a dedicated new teacher portal

  • Track their application and/or registration status

  • Change / update their log–in and personal details 

  • Access support via intuitive “How To” videos on how to use the system

  • Upload Induction and/or Early Professional Development records/documents

Schools will be able to:

  • Register and create an account via a dedicated new school portal

  • Change / update their log–in and current employee details 

  • Confirm teacher registration status and qualifications for potential employees

  • Update school list of teachers

  • Upload Induction and/or Early Professional Development records/documents
